Stylometry, as a discipline that applies quantitative and statistical analysis methods to the study of the style of texts, has been standing out in recent years as one of the most productive domains of the Digital Humanities. Corpus of contemporary, medieval, classical, etc. texts. in different languages, they are established in the usual field of study of stylometry. The present work contributes arguments to the state of the matter: on the basis of the distant reading of Francisco de Vitoria's re-lectures Sobre la potestad de la Iglesia y Sobre la potestad del Papa y del Concilio, and through a stylometric analysis - the results of which They are presented in a simple and pedagogical way – we try to verify the validity of the deductions obtained taking as reference the perspective of knowledge of traditional forms of research.
