En la última década, es ya un hecho constatado que los países meridionales de la Comunidad, tradicionalmente países de emigración, están experimentando un importante cambio de signo en sus corrientes migratorias. Así, el crecimiento alcanzado en España por la población inmigrante regular en la década de los 80 ha sido superior al 100%, pasando de las 181.544 personas registradas en 1980 a 399.377 en 1990; si a éstos sumáramos los inmigrantes ilegales, la cifra se elevaría notablemente.Downloads
