Abstract

El reciente proceso de desarrollo económico y social español ha tenido repercusiones directas en la organización del territorio. La dinámica de las fuerzas económicas ha provocado un desarrollo desigual de los espacios regionales. Ocurrió también en ios demás países industrializados que se enfrentan hoy a los graves problemas de algunas de sus regiones menos desarrolladas. En España los territorios deprimidos ocupan mayor extensión que en otros países europeos. Entre ellos, las áreas de montaña se destacan como los sectores más problemáticos y de más difícil solución.
