Los núcleos del sector noroeste del Área Metropolitana de Madrid deben su fisonomía y entidad al desarrollo que se produjo en torno a Madrid, como expresión de su crecimiento hacia la periferia. Así pues, estos núcleos tienen su origen actual fundamentalmente en el proceso de formación del Área Metropolitana y en las condiciones específicas e irrepetibles que dieron lugar a su acelerado crecimiento en las décadas de los sesenta y setenta.Downloads
