El “ciclo mítico” de Valle-Inclán abarca cinco obras cuyo espacio común es una Galicia mítica como escenario ideal para la recreación de las pasiones e instintos más básicos de los personajes. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la presencia de este espacio común en las puestas en escena de los primeros quince años del siglo XXI, en dos puntos concretos: la escenificación y la caracterización de los personajes.
ABSTRACT
The “Mythical Cycle” of Valle-Inclán includes five works whose common space is a mythical Galicia as the ideal setting for the recreation of the most basic passions and instincts of the characters. The objective of this article is to analyze the presence of this common space in the perfomances of the first fifteen years of the 21st century, from two specific points: the staging and the characterization of the characters.
