NO BASTA DECIR NO. NARRATIVAS CONSTITUYENTES Y MUNDOS EMERGENTES EN LAS FICCIONES DEL FUTURO

NO IS NOT ENOUGH. CONSTITUENT NARRATIVES AND EMERGENT WORLDS IN THE FICTIONS OF THE FUTURE

Resumen

En este artículo analizaremos la presencia de pulsiones constituyentes en algunas ficciones del futuro contemporáneas, que hacen verosímil la emergencia de mundos y formas de vida novedosas. Las novelas Cenital (Emilio Bueso, 2011), El futuro que hicimos (Óscar Eslava, 2017) y Tras la montaña está la orilla (Eva Cid, 2020) constituyen tres ejemplos diferentes de esta forma de afrontar la representación posible del futuro. En ellas aparecen contextualizadas y verosimilizadas, formas de vida y relaciones sociales que parecen escapar a los marcos de la verosimilitud política contemporánea. En ellas, la existencia de economías colaborativas, horizontalizadas y no basadas en el mercantilismo se da en contextos diferentes, algunos marcados por el colapso y otros por imaginarios ecosocialistas y del decrecimiento energético. En otras de estas ficciones, sociedades no patriarcales, formadas únicamente por mujeres, emergen como respuesta a los mundos de violencia patriarcal de donde proceden.

Abstract: In this article we will analyze the presence of constituent drives in some contemporary fictions of the future, which make the emergence of novel worlds and ways of life plausible. The novels Cenital (Emilio Bueso, 2011), El futuro que hicimos (Óscar Eslava, 2017) and Tras la montaña está la orilla (Eva Cid, 2020) constitute three different examples of this way of facing the possible representation of the future. In them appear contextualized and verisimilized, ways of life and social relations that seem to escape the frameworks of contemporary political verisimilitude. In them, the emergence of collaborative, horizontalized economies, not based on mercantilism, occurs in different contexts, some marked by collapse and others by ecosocialist and energy degrowth imaginaries. In other of these fictions, non-patriarchal societies, formed solely by women, emerge as a response to the worlds of patriarchal violence from which they originate.
