The article refers to one of the theses of R. Barbaras, namely that “... all feeling is feeling of nature “. This feeling is, in the end, the love of the world. It corresponds to the enigmatic opening of subjectivity by the world, that makes possible the passage from the anonymous process of the manifestation of the world to its appearance for the subjects, centralized around their movements of desire. If this motricity of desire is triggered by the feeling, the origin of the latter is the event of separation from the world, however, in the closest adhesion to it. The feeling equals, thus, to a tearing of the appearing of the innerworldly realities, which reminds a description of the transcendence of the Other in E. Levinas. If nothing of the world is manifested in the face of the Other according to Levinas, because all its phenomenality fades away, it is not the case for Barbaras since the feeling for him is a way of participating in the primary manifestation of the World, in the physis. Hence our proposal to link the feeling to the face of the nature.
