Manifestations and characteristics of rhythm in paremias and other texts

Abstract

On the base of metrical and rhythmical evidences in modern French and Spanish paremias, this study claims the existence of recurrent metrical structures. Such structures can also be found not only in texts like situational sentences, nursery rhymes and slogans, but in certain morphological constructions as well.
