Abstract

Full understanding of any person’s sexuality requires consideration of at least five components or levels of character, behavior and biology. These components are easily kept in mind with the mnemonic PRIMO: gender Patterns, Reproduction, sexual Identity, sexual Mechanisms, and sexual Orientation.
