This paper presents a way of working with agoraphobic patients within the constructivistic framework. First of all, some relevant schemata and processes for the maintenance of the equilibrium in these patients’ cognitive system are analyzed. Two different typologies of agoraphobics are then described and, for each of them, a psychotherapeutic strategy and some specific techniques are discussed.
