Abstract

This article presents a game, which has been developed from the detection of certain educational needs in students of the stage of Transition to Adult and Working Life of the Special Education Center "SAR the Infanta Doña Cristina" from San Fernando (Cádiz).
It consists of the creation and management of an orchard from a series of cards of horticultural species and given economic resources. The main objectives that are intended to be achieved with the students are:
1. Learn to recognize the most important plant species that can be planted or sown in the organic garden, as well as some of their most relevant characteristics.
2. Handle the different coins and bills, performing the basic mathematical operations (add, subtract, multiply, divide and percentages).
The winner will be the person who has obtained the most economic benefits during the class time.
