This review analyzes randomized and controlled studies carried out with patients diagnosed with fibromyalgia, who had been treated with either: (1) cognitive-behavioral therapy, (2) exercise training programs, or (3) a combination of both. The main conclusions of the interventions realized up to now are summarized and proposals with a view to improving outcomes are made, especially the early detection of patients at risk of developing fibromyalgia, the identification of subgroups and the development of treatments adjusted at the patient’s profile.Downloads
