O Rexurdimento da literatura galega, que se desenvolve en Galicia durante a segunda metade do século XIX, maniféstase con autores orixinarios do occidente do Principado de Asturias a comezos do XX. O ano de 1913 resulta a primeira data significativa para o renacer da literatura destas terras do Eo-Navia.

The Rexurdimento («revival») of Galician Literature took place in Galicia during the second half of the 19th century. It emerged thanks to several native authors from the West Regions of the Principado de Asturias, at the beginning of the 20th century. The year 1913 turned out to be the first significant date for the literary reawakening of these lands of Eo-Navia.
