Abstract

As the requirements on manufacturing and repairing processes increase, the integration of new technologies, such as LMD, are hot topics in the industries. Aeronautical industry is not an exception for such evolution, hence, the present work studies the manufacturing and repair process for a blisk type geometry by LMD technology. The study also presents a sensoring methodology for the monitoring of temperature and height. To that end, a set of 5-axis blades is manufactured by LMD process on a core substrate, generating a blisk type geometry. On the one hand, different additive strategies are studied evaluating accessibility and feasibility via CAM, aiming to improve the trajectories and avoid collisions with the generated parts. On the other hand, a two-color pyrometer is proposed for the temperature monitoring, considering the high values it reaches and its quick decrease. In addition, a laser distance sensor is used for the height measurement of the blades
