Abstract

In this article, we list the factors that affect the deviation of the surface tension measurements obtained with instruments based on the ADSA method, we analyze the influence of each one of them and their effect is quantified in terms of precision and accuracy of the measure. In addition, it identifies the wrong criteria suggested in other studies to determine the droplet size to be used in the measurement of surface tension and alternatives are proposed for the determination of that drop right size for each fluid must be used with the method ADSA.
