Bibliotecas de investigación y Humanidades Digitales en España. Una relación en construcción

Las Humanidades Digitales definen un marco donde la tecnología es un elemento indispensable para la investigación en Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales, y donde las bibliotecas académicas pueden desempeñar un papel esencial. Este trabajo se propone detectar y analizar cómo se está desarrollando ese papel de colaboración en España en este momento cuando en otros países ya es algo habitual. Partiendo de una revisión bibliográfica que contextualiza la cuestión, se muestran los resultados de una encuesta realizada a bibliotecas académicas en universidades donde existen proyectos de Humanidades Digitales, y que ha sido la herramienta metodológica de este análisis. Los resultados arrojan que mayoritariamente esa colaboración existe, pero queda diluida entre otros servicios de apoyo a la investigación de las bibliotecas. Contar con bibliotecarios integrados (embedded librarians) (Shumaker y Talley, 2009), de amplias capacidades para la gestión y análisis de datos, entre otras propuestas posibles, puede enriquecer este tipo de proyectos.
