Court of Constitutional Guarantees 1933-39. 2nd Spanish RepublicAbstract
The object of this work focuses on the members chosen by the Law Faculties as members of the Court of Constitutional Guarantees. Especially the procedural members and their ability due to their specialty to be part of that Court. I address the personal and political aspect of them. I would like to highlight the high proportion of professors in this body compared to the other members of the Law
Faculties. There were two procesalist members and secretary also procesalist and this should not be a reason for doubt to feel proud of this period as procesalists that we are. His appointment also coincides with the golden age of procedural law given that in this period the First School of Spanish Procedural Law was created and for this reason we call it the “Golden Age”. His participation in the TGC may have influenced its subsequent tragedy from 1936 to 1946.
