The origin and forms of papal diplomacy

Diplomacy is a right guaranteed coexistence and collaboration between men and based on good relations and understanding societies. The Church as society has developed this uneven and growing right from its beginnings to the present day, through different forms of pontifical representative to promote unity and fellowship among its members; and between the Pope and the nations promoting normal development of the church in the territory, defending the faith and harmony and balance in the political landscape for world peace and progress. To perform this task papal legates began their work in a timely and specific and limited powers until final settlement in court, by establishing permanent nunciatures by growing and necessary spiritual and political; involvement in addition to proliferate legations extraordinary at certain times, in order to strengthen ties of friendship, cooperation and mutual support on which rests all diplomatic relations.
