Abstract

CNT rose as an organization during post-Franco’s Spain. It experienced a fastpaced process of reconstruction. A Federal Conference was held in order to establish the organic and strategic patterns the anarchist labor union could adopt for those political and socio-economic circumstances. The Conference, however, which was from the outset a key factor in its process of the union’s consolidation, was to become essential for the confederation, specially when its growth was being cut short since 1978.
