Abstract

The epigraphic literature had documented the existence of five inscriptions from Fresneña (Burgos). Two of them actually came from Astorga, and by extrapolation, the remaining three have often been attributed to this town of León. However, the information provided by one of the three remaining inscriptions, seem to point to the east of the province of Burgos and the Celtiberia.
