The International Festival of Cante de las Minas is one of the most renowned flamenco events on the national flamenco art scene. On top of its tables, the most notable figures of this art have sung, tapped and played the guitar. Great figures have emerged from the competition that takes place within it.
Analyze what and how are the spaces in which the International Festival of Cante de las Minas takes place and reel off the ceremonial of the most significant acts of the contest, as well as determine the origin of the mining songs so typical of the Sierra de La Unión ( Murcia), is the main motivation that has led us to develop our research.
