The text translated here presents a reading of Sein und Zeit by Gérard Granel. It explains Heidegger’s position towards metaphysics comparing it with Feuerbach’s and Husserl’s positions. It also addresses the question of the explanatory circularity of Heidegger's book, exposing in what way his particular position about metaphysics necessarily implies a mostrative method as opposed to the descriptive method already placed before what is shown: The circularity of the concepts does not fall into an argumentative circularity because it allows to realise what it deals with, and given its necessarily fragmentary character it cannot be kept simply in presence in order to proceed with the descriptive method. Moreover, the article sustains and shows how Heidegger's later thought is already contained in Being and Time.
