Integrated treatment of eating disorders from a cognitive-developmental perspective

This work tries to integrate the contributions that outstanding cognitive therapists make to the psychotherapy and that they will be guided to the treatment of eating disorders. This boarding is framed in the context of the cognitive-evolutionary epistemology of Vittorio Guidano, with the contributions of the cognitive etiological model of Vitousak’s and Ewald’s nervous anorexia, and of the contributions on the therapeutic relationship of Safran and Segal and on meta-cognitive Semerari’s functions et al. It is intended to offer some strategies and tools to make in front of this epidemic that they are eating disorders.
