Abstract

Internet does not know spatial borders or temporal limits. Threats and new forms of invasion of privacy through new technologies are increasingly common and aggressive. Therefore, it is necessary more than ever legal mechanisms that guarantee privacy while allowing the evelopment of new technologies to guarantee the demands of today’s citizens. An evolution of a series of rights is necessary in the face of the new demands and challenges that these advances have brought about in society. The paradigmatic example of this legal challenge has been the one known as the «Right to be Forgotten» as a response to the threat posed to privacy, the free development of personality and other related rights, unlimited storage on the network of information, which after a time, it has ceased to have value and can be a serious obstacle for some people.
