Abstract

Architecture forms an essential part of the life of humans, because it is in many activities developed daily and of it depends, to a large extent, the quality of the life we live. So, today we consider as inviolable rights, rights that are linked directly or indirectly to the architecture: the right to a decent life, the right to quality of life, the right to a healthy environment and the right to enjoy all the constructive elements, which develop our existence: including housing, city, public spaces, parks, entertainment area, etc. Analyzed all these concepts, we argue the need, given the current significance of architecture for the life of citizens, which fully affects the very exercise of different rights and the degree of satisfaction of our «modus vivendi», that it is necessary and urgent to educate in architecture since childhood. Therefore, in conclusion, we justify and formulate a proposal for architectural education in Secondary Education (GCSE) and A Level Courses.
