Ecocide and climate exodus

A critical review from the Criminal Law and Green Criminology narrative

Abstract

This paper critically calls for a green international legal and criminological conceptualisation of the rights of planetary environmental goods and Earth’s inhabitants. It also examines the existing contemporary loopholes concerning eco-migration and ecocide as a counterpoint to the global powers which exert an unsustainable pressure.
