This paper analyses the relationship between the Swiss humanitarian aid and the art that is generated around it by its members, the rescued and photographers outside the organisation, in the temporal margin of 1939-1943 in France. The study implies the creative responses of the involved, especially the relevant artwork, in favour of the psychological and economical survival and against the challenges of an adverse military context in the French concentration camps of Argelès-sur-Mer and Gurs.Downloads
