Open access policy

Espacio, Tiempo y Forma. Serie IV: Historia Moderna is an Open Access journal, listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). Our editorial policies are published in the Dulcinea database (code colour: green) https://dulcinea.opensciencespain.org/ . The journal does not have either article submission charges or article processing charges (APCs).

Espacio, Tiempo y Forma. Serie IV: Historia Moderna provides immediate, open access to its content under the principle of providing the public with no-cost access to research, thereby promoting the exchange of knowledge on a global scale.

• Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
• Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as to earlier and greater citation of the published work (See The Effect of Open Access).
