The Carpetania in Ambrosio de Morales

In the light of the recent publication of the original manuscript of Las Antigüedades de España, by Ambrosio de Morales, preserved in the Real Academia de la Historia, it is of interest to make a comment on the differences in both texts to some specific issues. This paper addresses the question of Carpetania and the Carpetani from additional information in this new text, in the treatment of latin authors as well as epigraphical documentation. Some interesting observations were outside the publication and can be known now. control will be fundamental for its important historical development during this period.Downloads
