C14 y cerámica campaniforme en la Cueva de Pedro Fernández Villacañas (Estremera, Madrid)

Resumen

La presencia de un fragmento de cerámica campaniforme con decoración incisa en este yacimiento madrileño no plantea una especial problemática dado el contexto arqueológico con que se encuentra relacionado ni tampoco atendiendo al área geográfica en que se halla el propio conjunto arqueológico, formado como es sabido en un lugar situado a orilla del arroyo Salado, tributario del Tajo, y bajo él, en una gran cavidad de karst en yesos ocupada muy posiblemente desde el Neolítico Final/Calcolítico y con seguridad durante el Bronce Antiguo y el II milenio AC. Ahora bien, sin embargo la presencia de una cazuela campaniforme lisa y de típico perfil ciempozuelos, en un contexto arqueológico claramente atribuible al Bronce Pleno y las dataciones radiocarbónicas obtenidas demuestras procedentes de distintos puntos del yacimiento, plantean ciertos problemas de interpretación tanto per se como en relación con la cronología más comúnmente aceptada para la cerámica campaniforme de la Meseta Central de la Península Ibérica.

The presence of a fragment of bell-shaped pottery with incised decoration in this archaelogical deposit of Madrid does not bring up any important objection given the archaelogical context and the geographical area where this evidence has been found, a cavity of karst in plasters located in the shore of the Salado creek that ends in the river Tagus. This place was used probably fromthe Late Neolithic/Calcolithic but shows clear occupation levels during the Early Bronze and II Milleniun BC. Nevertheless, some problems of interpretation have raised because of the presence of a bell-shaped smooth casserole with typical Ciempozuelos profile discovered in an archaeological context clearly linked to the Middle Bronze and the existence of radiocarbon datations obtained of samples collected from different places of the deposit which do not match with the chronology commonly accepted for the bell-shaped pottery of the Central Plateau of the Iberian Peninsula.
