Abstract

The objective of this article –taking the noumenon as the central issue–
is to elucidate a gradual transition, which takes place throughout Immanuel Kant’s critical work, from the intelligible to the sensible sphere. The non-existence of two ontologically separate worlds emerges from this transit. In this way, it will be argued
that the regiomontane arises within KrV from an apparent dualism formed by ideas
of reason and sensibility, but that, in fact, a synthesis between these worlds is finally reached in the KU as a consequence, partly, of an overdetermination of the noumenon
understood in its negative sense (an excess for what was defended in the KrV).
