Leibniz wrote in 1675 a manuscript entitled Drole de pensée, touchant une nouvelle sorte de representation. In this text, Leibniz proposes the creation of an academy of representations in which any scientist could present his new inventions to those interested in the arts and sciences. Similarly, he also proposes the creation of an academy of games through which the academy of representations and the Académie des Sciences in Paris would be financed. In this work, we offer an unpublished translation into Spanish of the Drole de pensée and we highlight the importance of Leibniz as a promoter of scientific and philosophical communication, a role that Professor Eloy Rada has also highlighted.
