The purpose of this study is to reflect on the contributions of the work
of M. Barrios Casares in the new hermeneutic context in which Nietzschean studies
currently find themselves. The thread of the study is based on the latest publication by
the Sevillean philosopher, Tentativas sobre Nietzsche (2019), the fundamental lines of
which are analysed here. The second objective of this work is to point out some links
between this latest publication and the work carried out previously by M. Barrios in
the field of translation, editing and essay.
