The purpose of this research is to: a) develop, on the basis of John Conway’s concept of surreal number, a proper formalism for analyzing Deleuze’s onto- logy of time, b) show the generalizability of this tool to other ontologies, c) analyze the three synthesis of time in Deleuze showing their incompleteness and proposing a new synthesis, adding Lacanian concepts to Deleuze’s use of Freudian notions, e) show its application to ontologies based on nothingness as the one developed by K. Nishida,
creator of the Kyoto School.
