History, success and limits of conditioned rents programs as a tool for integration in Andalusia
Abstract
Our object of study is the aplication in Andalusia of rents garantee programs, since the appearence of the first, known as Ingreso Mínimo de Solidaridad (Solidarity Minimum Income), to nowadays. They are a kind of action included wtihin the policies for the eradication of marganility and unequality and in benefit of family units.
In this article we try to explore the history and current reality of rents garantee programs within their aplication in Andalusia trough the analysis of the historical context and the tendencies on unequality which gave place to and justified this intervention programs, plus the profiles of their beneficiaries. We try as well to give a first aproach to evaluating the extent those programs have achieved or are achieving their manifested objectives. That means, we try to find out how much they contribute to the effective eradication of marginality and unequality in Andalusia
