Abstract

This article shows how today educational freedom achieved centuries ago reaches a high level of development within the educational context of Community of Madrid. The methodological diversity of this context becomes reality in different pedagogical models which are embraced by some schools at pre-university stages. Thus, from different approaches to educational process, they contribute to the comprehensive training of students. It is true that traditional school is a model prevailing in our educational area. However, having in mind the pedagogical innovative models emerged throughout the 20th century and by adapting the didactic methodologies to the new times we give an opportunity to educational experiences which try to provide traditional schools with an alternative that indisputably enhances our present educational scenery.
