The Journal of Psychopathology and Clinical Psychology is a multidisciplinary research journal. It publishes articles related to the scientific study of different psychopathological phenomena in their various facets (biological, emotional, cognitive and behavioral), including psychosomatic manifestations and processes and, in general, psychological aspects related to health.

It also includes publications that address relevant aspects of clinical psychology, such as those related to assessment, therapy and prevention, as well as phenomena related to health promotion.

By incorporating different types of contributions, such as original research articles, reviews, short communications and case studies, the journal seeks to reflect advances in theoretical and applied research, both from laboratories and field studies as well as from clinical and regulatory contexts.

Since 1996 the journal is the official scientific publication of the Asociación Española de Psicología Clínica y Psicopatología (AEPCP, Spanish Association of Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology) and is published jointly by the AEPCP and the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED, National University of Distance Education, Spain).
