Abstract

In the present article it is presented thermo mechanical model of the orthogonal cutting of the tungsten/copper composite sintering (WCu25). The results show that the theoretical Merchant approaches well the experimental model in contrast of the Lee and Schaffer model. The described model in Boothroyd and Knight for the determination of the cutting temperature was applied..
