A dimensionless equation for irreversibilities in nonisothermal flat plate solar collectors for air heating

The dimensionless model deve loped and validated by Bracamonte and Baritto (2012) for the irreversibility in flat plate solar collectors without gl ass cover is solved for a wide range of turbulent flow operating conditions. A pa rametric study is performed and an equati on for the irreversibi lity as a function of aspect ratios and the mass flow number is proposed.
