Abstract

The dimensionless model deve loped and validated by Bracamonte and Baritto (2012) for the irreversibility in flat plate solar collectors without gl ass cover is solved for a wide range of turbulent flow operating conditions. A pa rametric study is performed and an equati on for the irreversibi lity as a function of aspect ratios and the mass flow number is proposed.
