Digital tools for Golden Age Drama’s Edition: an Attempt’s Account Starting from EVT (Edition Visualization Technology)

The aim of this paper is to give an account of a digitalization attempt carried out in the context of the Golden Age Drama’s edition, more specifically of Lope de Vega's drama, in order to assess the progress made in the field of Digital Ecdotics. Likewise, and based on the results obtained from this experience, an attempt is made to highlight some of the limitations and weaknesses of the tools used as well as to provide an overview of the adopted solutions, with the aim of contributing to shedding light on the next steps to be taken towards their improvement.
