Abstract

The article intends to reflect on the foundations of the right to autonomy claimed by the group of people with functional diversity from various instances. For this, it differentiates between the concepts of fundamental right and social right, as well as between the different guarantees that the law offers from the international, supranational and national spheres. Lastly, it tries to propose some ways to improve the legal resources available, in conclusion to the previous sections.
