Abstract

The sustainability of tourism in a particular geographic area depends to a large extent on the political public authorities carry out in that area. Also, the reality teaches as that tourism image has a lot to do with the good of the public authorities. It is obvious that this image also depends on the enterprises. The case of Melilla is at least reasonably unusual in regards to both the sustainability and the image of this city as a tourist destination. Therefore, our proposal is show a number of factors and problems which would have to work to make viable and sustainable tourist destination that today is not and, in turn, improve an image which no correspond to reality.
