Abstract

This article analyzes Paul Paolucci’s thought in relation to the politics of abstraction and the conception that the American thinker has about the dialectical method. It is setup that Paolucci distorts the Marxian thought, in so far as the dialectical method is subordinated by him to the scientific method and the empirical-positivist paradigm. Also, as a critique, they are established some ways that permit to supersede the blunders expressed by Paolucci in respect of the dialectics, so that we have a vision more coherent of the dialectical method and its scientificity, and naturally of the realm of application and validity of such method.
