Abstract

Every day the human being is in constant inter action with the environment and the surroundings and a lot of efforts have been made to increase the comfor t of the occupants by improving the thermal environments and seeking for their satisfaction. The main objective of this work is focused on the evaluation of heat exchanges between the human body and the surrounding areas, provide d by radiant cooling systems. It is also intended to evaluate the response of the human body when using th e same radiative systems at different locations and the same operating conditions. Alternative scenarios of radiant ceiling panels and radiant wall panels will be ana- lyzed. The results show that the radiant ceiling option is the one that ensure the thermal comfort of occupants with lower power consumption.
