This paper's main objective is to reflect on the implementation of the first program of adequate health to the cultural characteristics of the indigenous population of Mexico, the «Unidades Móviles, Caravanas de la Salud», focusing mainly on aspects of multiculturalism that must think from the perspective of intercultural communication because the evaluative results of its operation.
