“Protection of the rights of victims of trafficking in human beings”

The objective of the text is to make an analysis of some of the different legal mechanisms implemented in order to protect the human rights of victims, especially those of trafficking in human beings, specific objectives referring to the following aspects: “Identification of the victims. Protection of victims. Special protection of children who are trafficked. Avoidance of double victimization. The statute of victims in Spain”; to answer questions such as: “Are human rights at the core of responses to trafficking in human beings? Does trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation have a greater implementation than other forms of trafficking? Significantly in women and girls? Are genderspecific measures applied to address trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation? Does the current detection and identification of victims of trafficking in human beings guarantee the integral protection of the victims?
