Abstract

The article discusses a history of ideas and culture of Chile and Spanish America of the last two hundred years, using the category of staging and collective experience of historical time, understood as a discursive matrix that articulates different systems of representations. The offer considers also sociohistorical facts and intellectual climates of the period.
