Abstract

Comic has been a didactic resource that, though known, has hardly been used in the educational world, especially when we take into consideration its possibilities. In this article we have proposed an approach to global Contemporary History that is focused on the period roughly between 1900 and 1950. The beginning of the twentieth century brought numerous warlike events, but it should not be forgotten that other important events also marked the History of the world in that period. We have proposed a small selection of comics that can help students to approach and understand better these events.
