Abstract

The excavation of the tomb of El Miradero, dating from the Late Neolithic, threw up the discovery of a body of evidences relating to the beliefs’ field whose transcendence is reflected in this work. On one side there are bone spatulas and massive pots that are associated with the use of consciousness-altering substances. Furthermore we analyze the formation of the limestone crust that sealed the tomb and the characteristics of the burials preserved under it.
