Iturbide "the brief", first Emperor of Mexico: the Ceremonial of a Coronation

For the coronation, a commission of deputies elaborated a detailed project of ceremony of contains 63 articles, that had to be fulfilled step by step and that was completely copied of the rituals of the Spanish court and of the coronation of Napoleón Bonaparte that also adapted to the Roman ritual, with the presence of the President of Congress as the depositary of the crown on the head of Iturbide, and among other things, with the suppression of the three days of fasting that preceded all coronation.
